AJC San Diego connects our community with American Jewish Committee’s global advocacy work to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel. By working with elected officials, universities, school administrators, media, and intergroup and interfaith partners, our action at the local level advances AJC’s broader priorities: combating the growing threat of antisemitism, promoting Israel’s place in the world, and championing the values of democracy and pluralism.
Our impact extends well beyond the San Diego community, helping AJC achieve tangible results in the form of government policies, formidable alliances, and hard-hitting legislation that make our world safer and more secure.
The AJC San Diego office opened in January 2023 at a critical moment for the Jewish community in the area. Antisemitism is on the rise, and San Diego has not been immune to this hate. AJC is eager to be on the ground in San Diego furthering our global mission.
