ACCESS D.C.

Empowering Today’s Young Jewish Leaders

ACCESS DC

ACCESS D.C. empowers young Jewish professionals to engage with the world’s foremost politicians, interfaith partners, and cultural leaders. We encourage and enable Jews in their 20s and 30s to develop strong relationships with these key contacts so that they will be able to advocate on behalf of the Jewish community here in Washington, D.C., and around the world.

ACCESS D.C. offers young professionals unparalleled access to 170 foreign embassies and to Capitol Hill. We pride ourselves on our close relations with the African American, Latino, and multiple religious communities. Cultivating these friendships is vital for the Jewish people and the promotion of democratic values.

Throughout the year, ACCESS D.C. offers many opportunities for young professionals to participate in American Jewish Committee’s work. Our programs range from large-scale events and small, intimate dinners with ambassadors to advocacy committees and fellowships. Here is a sampling;

  • Dinner with a Diplomat
  • Black-Jewish Unity Seder
  • Young Diplomats Reception
  • AJC Washington Antisemitism Taskforce
  • Lessans Family Intergenerational Program Series
  • ACCESS Interest Group Advocacy Committees
  • ACCESS Leadership Fellowship
  • And more!
