LFT enables young Jewish leaders to develop skills to advocate on behalf of the Jewish people, Israel, and human rights around the world, and to serve as positive change agents for their peers and community.
AJC's goal is to ensure that graduates of the program enter college with the knowledge and confidence to engage in ongoing dialogue regarding antisemitism and Israel. Topics covered include past and current Israeli affairs, challenges and opportunities facing global Jewry, and how to utilize strategic networks in advocacy.
Applications for the 2020-2021 LFT cohort are now closed. Applications for the 2021-2022 cohort will open in Spring 2021. Students who will be sophomores or juniors during the 2021-2022 school years are eligible to participate.
LFT will consist of monthly high-level, participatory training sessions once a month on Sundays from 5:00 to 6:30 PM beginning in Fall 2020. All 2020-2021 LFT sessions will take place virtually. If and when it is safe for us to meet in person, we will aspire to do so.
