AJC Louisville
Global Jewish Advocacy in Louisville
AJC Louisville connects our community with AJC’s global advocacy work to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel. Through high-level access to diplomats, elected officials, and interfaith leaders, our action at the local level advances AJC’s broader priorities: combating antisemitism and hate, promoting Israel’s place in the world, and championing the values of democracy and pluralism.
Our impact extends well beyond the Louisville community, helping AJC achieve tangible results including new government policies, formidable alliances, and hard-hitting legislation that make our world safer and more secure for all.
The AJC Louisville Regional Office was created in June 2020 in memory of Breonna Taylor. When speaking about the new office, Former AJC CEO David Harris said: “We share the promise of America for all… We have more than a century of experience in our unswerving commitment to the civil rights struggle. AJC will bring that dedication and experience to Louisville. We want to contribute to the solution on the ground and do so in close partnership with like-minded institutions and individuals.”
