Israel launched Operation Rising Lion on June 12, 2025 to prevent the imminent and existential threat of a nuclear Iran, destroying nuclear, military, and other strategic targets. In retaliation, the Iranian regime fired hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones at Israelis, killing 30 civilians and injuring hundreds. On June 21, the U.S. carried out precision airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. A ceasefire between Israel and Iran, brokered in part by the U.S., was reached on June 23 after 12 days of war.
