AJC Farsi is American Jewish Committee’s new online effort to engage Iranians, both in Iran and in diaspora communities around the world. Launched in June 2021, this important project—which builds on the success of AJC Arabic, the organization’s highly successful online effort to engage the Arabic-speaking world—seeks to increase Iranians’ understanding of the Jewish people by sharing aspects of Jewish history, contemporary Jewish life, and issues of importance to the Jewish people in Farsi. In addition to Farsi-language Twitterand Instagram accounts, we have also created a Farsi video titled “Who are the Jews?”, explaining Jewish history and beliefs to Iranian audiences.
