Eliseo served as the Director, AJC Africa Institute from 2004 - 2014.
Eliseo Neuman, Director of AJC’s Africa Institute, conducts the organization’s advocacy efforts with African countries, establishes partnerships with African diaspora communities in the U.S., and facilitates American and Israeli technical cooperation and development assistance in Africa. Before taking this position with AJC in 2004, Neuman was an investment banker and lawyer, and served as an adviser to the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague. He has Bachelor’s degrees from Harvard and Cambridge Universities, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
