AJC Global Forum 2024 opened with a powerful tribute to the more than 1,200 people who died on or after October 7, 2023. Every single one of these victims — babies and grandparents, mothers and fathers — was more than just a statistic; they were beloved family members, cherished friends, and vibrant individuals with dreams and aspirations. These souls, taken too soon, are honored in our memories and prayers.

Sarah Fredrick, cellist, provides a moving musical tribute, and Rabbi Noam Marans, AJC Director, Interreligious and Intergroup Relations, offers prayers.

Since Hamas' barbaric massacre, American Jewish Committee (AJC) has worked tirelessly to support the victims’ families, advocate for justice, combat the rising scourge of antisemitism on campus and around the world, and put a stop to regional violence sowed by the Iranian regime. AJC is resolute in its commitment to remembering all those lives lost and using their legacies as motivation to fight for peace and security for Israel and the Jewish people.
