Rachel R. Schneider is an advocate and attorney. With a background in law and a passion for community engagement, Rachel is dedicated to advancing AJC's mission through advocacy, education, and intergroup relations.
Prior to her role at AJC, Rachel had a distinguished career in both public service and private practice. As a former Assistant District Attorney, she tried numerous cases to juries, demonstrating her proficiency across a spectrum of criminal conduct.
Rachel's dedication to making a positive impact in her community extends beyond her legal work. She has held leadership roles in various organizations, supporting initiatives in education and community enrichment.
Rachel holds a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston and a BA in Criminal Justice and Peace & Justice Studies from Michigan State University. Originally from outside Detroit, Michigan, Rachel proudly calls Houston her home of over 10 years, embodying her dedication to serving and empowering the local community.
