Equity, Democracy, and Entrepreneurship, A View on Israel’s Successes

José Manuel Restrepo, Project Interchange alumnus and Colombia’s incoming Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism writes in El Espectador about Israel’s success in innovation and nation-building, and lessons that can be learned by Colombia.
He notes that “Israel is a nation that, while having political or social difficulties, and in the midst of crossfire from different directions, has achieved what Colombia could achieve with an adequate post-conflict construction, which is to learn how to act with resilience and make its conflict itself an opportunity to grow and be better socially and economically.”
