AJC Project Interchange awards a limited number of Alumni Venture Fund (AVF) grants of up to $2,000 to support Israel-related projects and programs led by PI alumni.
AVF Goals:
Encourage alumni to develop initiatives inspired by their Project Interchange experience.
Empower alumni to extend the impact of their Israel experience.
Enable alumni to deepen relationships with Israel and its people.
Strengthen alumni connections with their local Jewish community.
Provide alumni with the resources and connections to realize ambitious initiatives.
Projects and Process:
The project or program must be initiated by a Project Interchange alumnus.
Proposals should connect to Israeli or Jewish history, society, culture, or politics, or relate to the fight against antisemitism.
The Alumni Venture Fund does not provide general operating funds to create or support existing nonprofit organizations.
Proposals may include, but are not limited to, academic projects, public programs, or artistic endeavors.
Proposals are evaluated by Project Interchange professional staff.
Grantees receive 50% of the funds at the beginning of the project and 50% upon completion, normally within one year.
Project Interchange also provides grantees connections in Israel to support their grants.
Grantees agree to be featured by AJC and Project Interchange in marketing and communication materials, including on social media and/or in public programs.
