Project Interchange Inspired University of Michigan and Ben Gurion University Renewable Energy Partnership

Israel is a world leader in innovation, with renewable energy as only one example of Israel’s pioneering breakthroughs using technology. As the global energy demand continues to grow, corporations and academic institutions are partnering with Israel on cutting-edge technology. As a direct result of a Project Interchange delegation of University Presidents, the University of Michigan signed a renewable energy bilateral cooperation partnership with Israel’s Ben Gurion University. News Service reports, “solar energy researchers from Israel, for example, might approach the problem with more applied perspective than some American researchers, and together these cultures could make breakthroughs.”
