In a deeply emotional speech to AJC Global Forum 2025, Israeli hostage Noa Argamani, who was rescued last year in a daring IDF operation, shared her harrowing story of survival and resilience.

Noa, who was named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025, spoke candidly about her ordeal and the trauma of captivity, while shining a spotlight on the hostages who remain in Hamas captivity in Gaza—including her boyfriend, Avinatan Or, who has now been held for over 560 days. Her heartfelt plea underscored the urgent need to bring them home and the human cost of continued inaction.
