Five years after the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and later the Kingdom of Morocco, normalized relations with Israel – a historic achievement of the first Trump administration – and after nearly two years of war in Gaza, the continued expansion of the Arab-Israeli circle of peace faces popular resistance across the region, even as the logic of Israel’s full integration in the Middle East remains compelling.
