In an interview with NBC 6, AJC CEO Ted Deutch reiterates that bringing every single hostage home is the highest priority and must be part of every conversation. Ted, who recently returned from an AJC mission to Israel, also urges elected officials to sustain pressure on Hamas to stick to the hostage agreement, reminding the world that it was the terror group who started this war more than 500 days ago. Lastly, Ted shares how the October 7 massacre made a large majority of American Jews – 77% – feel less safe as a Jewish person in the U.S., according to AJC’s State of Antisemitism in America 2024 Report.
