At AJC Global Forum 2026, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria received the inaugural Donald M. Ephraim Global Jewish Advocacy Award in recognition of his steadfast support for the Jewish community, his leadership in combating antisemitism, and his commitment to standing with Jewish communities during times of challenge.
Established through a transformative gift from philanthropist and AJC leader Donald M. Ephraim, the award honors distinguished leaders who have made significant contributions to combating antisemitism and strengthening Jewish communal life.
The award was presented by David Ephraim.
