June 2, 2026 — Washington, D.C.
At AJC Global Forum, the AJC Sharon Greene Award for Campus Advocacy was presented to three remarkable students on behalf of their campus organizations who have stood tall in the face of rising antisemitism and hostility on college campuses.
The award, created in memory of Sharon Greene—a social worker, mother, and passionate advocate for Jewish life—honors student leaders who embody courage, resilience, and Jewish pride. Introduced by Dr. Alison Greene, Dana Greene, and Joshua Greene—children of Sharon Greene— this year’s award was presented to:
- Jake Rymer, University of Chicago, 2027
Representing Maroons for Israel
- Jonathan Iadarola, Adelaide University, 2027
Representing the Australasian Union of Jewish Students
- Sophie Kalmin, Emory University, 2026
Representing Emory Hillel
These inspiring young leaders have shown unwavering strength and grace as they defend Jewish life and values on campus. Their actions are a powerful reminder that the future of Jewish advocacy is in strong hands.
