Following the release of a new song and music video from Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) in which he openly praises Adolf Hitler, American Jewish Committee (AJC) CEO Ted Deutch released the following statement:
"This is blatant antisemitism, and it's disgusting. Ye is profiting off of Jew-hatred, and the music industry needs to step up and speak out against this obscenity."
AJC has repeatedly condemned Ye’s purposeful use of his platform to spew anti-Jewish hatred and has called on the entertainment industry to do the same.
