At AJC Global Forum 2024, world leaders from Africa, Europe, and North and South America joined a panel moderated by Melanie Maron Pell, AJC Chief Field Operations Officer, to address the dangerous rise in antisemitism over the last eight months.
Prof. Karen Miller, National Chairperson, South African Jewish Board of Deputies, Anthony Housefather, Member of the Canadian House of Commons, Emma Hallali, President, European Union of Jewish Students, and Ariela Agosin, President, Jewish Community of Chile, discussed the steps governments must take to curb Jew-hatred, including adopting and implementing The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism.
