Laurence Bolotin joined AJC Chicago as regional director after nearly 14 years at Zeta Beta Tau International Fraternity, where he was CEO from 2009 to 2019. Under Laurence’s leadership, ZBT increased revenue by 250%, more than doubled the number of full-time staff, introduced award-winning programming focused on hate prevention and combating antisemitism, and significantly grew its presence in the Jewish community both in the U.S. and abroad. Laurence also serves in a volunteer capacity as programming chair of JUF’s JPRO Network for Jewish Professionals. A graduate of the prestigious 18-month Schusterman Foundation fellowship for Jewish professionals, he has served the Junior Chamber International (JCI) as National President for the U.S. in 2016 and Global Treasurer in 2017; was a board member of Hillel at Indiana University; founded the JPRO Indiana chapter; served on the board of the Jewish Student Connection. Laurence, a graduate of the Spertus Institute for Jewish leadership, received his undergraduate degree in public relations from the University of Florida and his M.Ed. in higher education administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Laurence lives with his wife, Carli, and their daughter, Sienna, in the Lakeview area of Chicago.
