Strategic Guidance for Administrators:
We partner with K-12 administrators to create and sustain school cultures that are inclusive of Jews and Jewish identity, resilient against antisemitism, and deeply committed to civic education, democratic values, and fact-based inquiry.
- AJC’s Action Plan for Heads of Independent Schools details proactive strategies and concrete steps to ensure Jewish students can safely thrive.
- Our curricular guidance ensures the Jewish experience over time is included throughout the curriculum (beyond the Holocaust), and that Israel and the Arab-Israeli-Palestinian relationship and conflict is taught with nuance through multiple narratives and primary sources.
Educational Workshops for:
- Faculty: “Antisemitism in the Classroom: Recognize and Confront with Empathy”
- Students: “Who are the Jews? Jewish Identity and Antisemitism in the 21st Century”
- Parents: “Understanding Antisemitism and our Jewish Students and Families”
AJC’s Center for Education Advocacy is led by Laura Shaw Frank, PhD, a seasoned educator and public speaker with over 20 years of teaching, curricular, and education administration experience, including 17 years in the classroom.
