On November 30th, AJC Los Angeles hosted our 42nd Annual Judge Learned Hand
Award Dinner honoring Manny Abascal.
We were joined by and heard the stories of several family members of hostages still
held captive in Gaza. Their stories touched the hearts of all who were in the room and
reinvigorated everyone in our fight to bring home our brothers and sisters from captivity.
We also had the honor of hearing remarks from Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Thank
you to everyone who joined us for a beautiful and meaningful evening.
Our hearts ache for the remaining hostages who have yet to return home, and we are
grateful for the community we have in all of you.
