Last night, AJC Los Angeles held its 41st Annual Judge Learned Hand Award Dinner. Named for one of America’s great jurists and humanitarians, the award is presented to distinguished attorneys whose professional and community activities have had significant impact upon bettering the community.

“AJC is proud to confer the Judge Learned Hand Award upon Debra Wong Yang, an accomplished attorney and dedicated public servant who elevates us all through her high ethical values, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to community. We are especially grateful also to Mayor Karen Bass for joining in our mission to combat antisemitism and all forms of identity-based hate. We share the Mayor’s vision of a better Los Angeles and look forward to partnering with her administration to ensure our city truly is an inclusive and safe place for all.” – AJC Los Angeles Director Rick Hirschhaut.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, in-person or virtually, to celebrate Debra Wong Yang and affirm AJC’s essential mission.
