Over 230 AJC members and dignitaries gathered for AJC LA's 72nd Annual Meeting at SLS Hotel on May 15, 2017. AJC Past National President Bruce Ramer presented the Former Israeli Ambassador to Japan, Hideo Sato, with the prestigious Madeline and Bruce Ramer Award for Diplomatic Excellence. Ambassador Sato, Israeli Consul General Sam Grundwerg, Israeli Ambassador to Japan Ruth Kahanoff, AJC CEO David Harris, Regional President Scott Edelman, Regional Director Janna Weinstein Smith, and several others delivered special remarks.
