The Abraham Accords have ignited an unprecedented moment to advance the Middle East peace process. For 70 years, the American Jewish Committee (AJC) has worked across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to build relations with Arab countries and the Muslim world, pursuing a bold vision in which Israel will enjoy peace and cooperation with its Arab neighbors. Now, a unique chance awaits you right here in southwest Ohio – an opportunity to actively be a part of this historic transformation.

AJC Cincinnati, in conjunction with the Cincinnati JCRC is thrilled to announce a pilot initiative for 10 emerging leaders from greater Cincinnati’s civic and business community to participate in a multi-day, Cincinnati-based gathering alongside a peer delegation of leaders from Israel and across the MENA region.

This gathering will serve as a dynamic platform to advance peace by expanding cooperative people-to-people initiatives in the health, food and water security and clean energy sectors. This first-of-its-kind opportunity will further position Cincinnati as an innovator for thinking locally and acting globally.

Objectives

During this initiative, the Collective aims to:

• Cultivate Sustainable Relationships
  Build enduring connections between emerging leaders from southwest Ohio and the MENA region, establishing a network of collaboration, exchange, and mutual growth.
• Demonstrate Tangible Outcomes
  Focus on outcomes-driven relational capital to enhance the value of delegates’ ventures and foster new collaborations.
• Empower Prospects for Peace and Social Innovation
  Foster an environment that builds on emerging prospects for peace and supports innovation through strategic civic and business ties.
