Lisa is a seasoned HR executive with broad leadership, strategic and people operations experience, and 20+ years of HR/Total Rewards expertise. She has a proven ability to provide organizational vision and leadership, with a passion for building and sustaining diverse and inclusive cultures and high performing teams. She believes in the impact of social responsibility - - and is inspired by mission based and purpose driven work.
Lisa most recently served as EVP of People (CHRO) for Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern NJ, where she led a team of dedicated HR professionals in supporting both a human services and retail workforce. Lisa brings a strong background in law and governance, having spent a decade as a practicing attorney both in private practice and in-house. Prior to joining Goodwill, Lisa served as the SVP of Total Rewards & People Services at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she led global compensation, benefits and work life strategy. She also had overall accountability for HR operations including payroll, compensation & benefit operations, recruitment, employee relations, and core HR, etc. She served on the BMS Pension and Savings Plan Committees.
Prior to joining BMS, Lisa was VP Global Compensation & Benefits and served as Acting Chief Human Resources Officer of CSC, an information technology and business services company with 90,000 employees globally. She was the VP Employee Benefits and Compensation at Wyeth (prior to Pfizer’s acquisition of Wyeth). Early in her career she was an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, spent a year at the Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. and was an Associate at Rosenman & Colin LLP.
Lisa holds a B.A. in Labor Studies from Rutgers College, Rutgers University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Lisa lives in Manhattan with her husband and has 2 children.
