Eric Post
Eric Post is the AJC Long Island Regional Director, having worked for AJC since 2016. As Long Island Director, Post oversees all aspects of AJC’s advocacy, leadership, and fundraising on Long Island. Post, alongside the AJC Long Island leadership team, holds meetings with elected officials on Long Island and diplomats in New York, and develops relationships with interfaith and intergroup leaders.
Before serving as Long Island Regional Director, Post oversaw AJC NY’s interfaith and intergroup outreach to New York City’s diverse communities, which included overseeing the Latino-Jewish Coalition and Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council (MJAC NY). Post coordinated a training that brought Latino and Jewish leaders together to learn best practices in advocating for Puerto Rico’s recovery and brought the Dominican, Mexican, and Israeli consulates together with diaspora advocacy groups to determine best practices in strengthening ties. He also led an MJAC NY effort that helped create a New York City Office of Hate Crime Prevention and advocated on local, state, and federal levels for legislation that will protect New York’s most vulnerable communities. Post received his B.A. and M.A. in International Relations at The George Washington University.
