Brian Lipton
Brian Lipton serves as director of AJC West Coast Florida, based in Sarasota. Lipton is also AJC’s staff liaison for two German exchange programs, the AJC-Adenauer Leadership Exchange Program and the Third Generation Initiative. Before his current post, he was AJC’s first full-time director of development for the West Coast of Florida. Lipton received AJC’s Staff Excellence Award in 2013. Prior to coming to AJC, he spent over twenty years in the corporate retail world as an executive with Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and Brooks Brothers, gaining recognition for training over 10,000 sales associates. He entered the Jewish nonprofit world in 2004 as an award-winning director of membership for a Jewish community center. Lipton studied international sociology at the City University of London and Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He earned his B.A. at Washington University in St. Louis and his J.D. at St. Louis University School of Law.
