What’s the Job About?
You’ll be the bridge between AJC’s global vision and the local Palm Beach County community. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll do:
Build Relationships: Cultivate meaningful connections with donors, prospects, and community leaders. Think parlor meetings, committee building, and creative outreach strategies that make people excited to join our mission.
Inspire Giving: Identify, solicit, and steward philanthropic prospects, connecting them to AJC’s impactful programs and events – locally and nationally.
Foster Community: Dive into Palm Beach County’s vibrant corporate, financial, and philanthropic circles to expand AJC’s reach and influence.
Create Impactful Events: Plan and execute engaging programs, parlor meetings, and fundraisers that leave people inspired and eager to support our cause.
Champion AJC’s Mission: Whether through donor recognition societies, leadership development programs, or our renowned Global Forum, you’ll be a driving force behind AJC’s success.

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Director of Development to help propel our efforts forward. What We’re Looking For:
We want a go-getter who’s as passionate about AJC’s mission as we are! Here’s what you’ll need to thrive:
A proven track record in fundraising and donor cultivation (7+ years of experience and bachelor’s degree or advanced degree).
Knowledge and passion for Jewish issues, Israel, and the philanthropic community in Palm Beach County.
Stellar communication skills – you can engage, inspire, and close the deal like a pro.
Creativity, organizational savvy, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A sense of humor – because changing the world is serious work, but we like to have fun doing it!
