LFT Accelerator
American Jewish Committee (AJC) has educated over 2,000 teens through its award-winning Leader for Tomorrow (LFT) program, now based in twelve cities nationwide. LFT serves as AJC's education and advocacy program for teens, empowering young Jews to speak up for Israel and the Jewish people.
As the global advocacy organization for the Jewish people, AJC is determined to increase access to our thoughtful, nuanced program beyond its current footprint so we can continue to build the new generation of Jewish leaders. Our goal is to ensure that more teens across the U.S. are better prepared for the challenges they will inevitably face, and. To achieve this, we are creating an abridged LFT crash course, which will be accessible to a larger number of cities and communities.
AJC is proud to launch the LFT Accelerator Program this fall.
- The LFT Accelerator Program will offer local teens a half-day, abridged LFT course that will empower them to build their Jewish identities, stand up for Israel, and combat antisemitism.
- Seasoned AJC educators and experts will travel to your region and teach this nuanced educational model to groups of diverse and talented Jewish high schoolers.
- We will work closely with AJC’s regional offices across the country and Jewish communal partners on the ground in order to reach a wide range of Jewish teens nationwide.
