Watch: religious leaders discuss the role houses of worship and religious communities play in the future direction of Black-Jewish relations.
Black Jewish Unity Week 2020 Presented by AJC and the National Urban League
As part of a weeklong national initiative, two of the world’s foremost human relations organizations, the National Urban League and American Jewish Committee, united against surging levels of antisemitism and racism.
#BLACKJEWISHUNITY WEEK
During 2020's #BlackJewishUnity Week, AJC and the National Urban League called on members of the Jewish and Black communities to foster #BlackJewishUnity, attend joint AJC-NUL programming, educate each other, and remember and honor the Black and Jewish leaders over the past century who forged this relationship. The effort was then followed by over two dozen local initiatives across America between AJC Regional Offices and NUL Chapters.
