Advocacy and Engagement in a Vibrant, Diverse City
AJC Northern California connects local communities with global advocacy to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel. The organization's access to diplomats, elected officials, and interfaith leaders at the local level advances AJC’s broader priorities: combating antisemitism, promoting Israel’s place in the world, and advancing democracy.
AJC Northern California regularly engages in diplomacy with more than 35 countries. Through innovative interfaith and intergroup outreach, AJC Northern California builds bridges of understanding. The region's training and advocacy to confront antisemitism in schools is unparalleled. And AJC conveys a global Jewish voice to elected officials on the local, state, and federal level. AJC Northern California's young professional network, ACCESS, brings together emerging Jewish leaders.
The organization's impact extends well beyond the Bay Area and Northern California, serving Utah as well, to achieve tangible results that makes our world safer and more secure.
AJC Northern California is situated in one of our nation’s most innovative and diverse areas. At the forefront of technology and new ideas, the region's advocacy and programming reflect the same spirit and opportunities.
