After a brief summer pause, AJC Dallas’ Sebakah returned on September 29, 2025, for a vibrant High Holiday Networking Reception, drawing nearly 50 attendees from across industries and career stages.

The evening brought together Jewish professionals and invited non-Jewish allies for conversation, connection, and reflection on the year ahead. Guests enjoyed apples and honey, heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and hard cider, celebrating the spirit of renewal that marks the High Holiday season. The Sebakah High Holiday Reception was generously supported by a grant from Central Market.
Sebakah—Hebrew for network, lattice, or webbing—is designed to convene North Texas Jewish professionals of all ages and backgrounds. Through these gatherings, participants build community, share experiences, and explore what it means to navigate the workplace as Jews today.
That momentum continued on December 16, when Sebakah convened again alongside the inaugural program of Dallas’ Diplomatic Engagement Series. The event marked an exciting expansion of Sebakah’s reach, bringing together Jewish professionals and members of the Texas diplomatic community for a dynamic evening of dialogue, connection, and relationship-building. This new initiative draws on AJC’s powerful global network to foster meaningful engagement across four signature events each year, and the December gathering set a strong and inspiring tone for what is to come.
