On Thursday, June 5, leading organizations from the two largest Jewish Diaspora communities, AJC and Conseil Représentatif des Institutions Juives de France (CRIF) hosted On the Frontlines: French-American Forum on Antisemitism, a global summit centered on youth engagement, education, and transatlantic cooperation that highlighted how the challenges faced by the Jewish community are global — and so must be the response. Forum speakers included Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, Immediate Past U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism and Distinguished Professor at Emory University; Ambassador Isabelle Rome, French Ambassador for Human Rights and International Holocaust Remembrance & Former Minister for Gender Equality and the Fight Against Discrimination’ Shelley Greenspan, former White House Jewish Liaison; Dr. Taya Owens, U.S. State Department, U.S. Mission to UNESCO; and social media influencer Nuseir Yassin, among others.
