This October, AJC Dallas hosted Echoes & Elixirs in the Fireside Room at the Park City Club, bringing together donors at the Marshall Society giving level and above for an intimate, speakeasy-style evening of conversation and engagement. The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for supporters to connect with one another and reflect on the shared purpose that sustains AJC’s work.
Guests were welcomed into a relaxed setting marked by thoughtful conversation and live jazz that created a comfortable backdrop for connection. Longtime supporters and new members alike spent the evening exchanging stories, renewing relationships, and discussing their commitment to AJC’s mission. It was an evening that reminded us how much of AJC’s impact comes not from programs alone, but from the people who show up, lean in, and build this community together.
The program included a presentation from Beri Schwitzer, who offered insight into the life and legacy of Louis Marshall, one of AJC’s earliest and most influential leaders. Beri highlighted Marshall’s legal accomplishments, his leadership during AJC’s founding in 1906, and his enduring belief in equal protection under the law. Her presentation set today’s advocacy efforts against a century-long backdrop of Jewish advocacy and civic responsibility, underscoring the enduring values that continue to guide AJC.
The evening demonstrated how AJC’s history remains relevant through the continued involvement of our supporters. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to the success of the evening. Your engagement, generosity, and dedication play a vital role in sustaining our mission.
Echoes & Elixirs served as a reminder that while AJC’s work is global in scope, it is strengthened by moments of connection at the local level. We look forward to continuing these opportunities to gather, learn, and move forward together.
