Nearly 300 guests gathered at The Fairmont Dallas on October 30 as AJC Dallas honored Staci and Jeff Mankoff with the 2025 Milton I. Tobian Community Relations Award for their outstanding leadership and lasting impact on Jewish life in North Texas. The evening also recognized the Mankoffs’ multigenerational legacy with AJC, following in the footsteps of Jeff’s parents, Ron and Joy Mankoff, of blessed memory, who received the same award in 1991.
During the program, AJC Dallas Regional Director Joel Schwitzer shared how AJC’s global mission is brought to life locally through the Center for Education Advocacy, which provides training and resources for students, educators, and parents from K–12 to university to confront antisemitism and strengthen understanding. AJC National Board President Bobby Lapin spoke passionately about AJC’s global advocacy, highlighting its work to protect Jewish communities, engage world leaders, and strengthen Israel’s place among the nations.
The evening celebrated leadership, legacy, and the enduring spirit of AJC, honoring those who built the Dallas community and those carrying its mission forward.
AJC’s work is not only about the issues that define our moment: it’s about the relationships that define our future.
