Hilda Galvan serves as the Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day Dallas. For more than 25 years, Hilda has advised technology companies on the protection of their intellectual property assets and served as trial counsel for those companies in courtrooms across the country. She has received various awards in recognition of her professional accomplishments, including recently being selected by Best Lawyers of America as the 2019 Best Dallas Lawyer in Patent Litigation.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, Hilda moved to Dallas to begin her career as an engineer in the telecommunications industry. Several years later, she attended the University of Texas Law School, where she graduated with her J.D. in 1993 and promptly returned to Dallas.

Hilda is committed to serving the community, devoting time and energy to organizations that impact education, economic development, women & children, and the Latino community. She is past chair of the board of the Dallas Regional Chamber, serves as a Trustee for the University of Texas School of Law Foundation, and on the boards of Parkland Foundation, Texas Women's Foundation, SMU’s Lyle School of Engineering, the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation, AVANCE and Circle Ten Scouts, among others. She was named one of "The Most Powerful Business Leaders" in Dallas-Fort Worth" by D CEO in 2016-2018.
