This year, American Jewish Committee proudly celebrates 80 years of being the global advocacy organization for the Jewish people right here in Dallas. For generations, leaders in our community have been empowering leaders in government, education, partner communities, and the private sector to take action to counter antisemitism and be allies to the Jewish people and Israel.

As we mark this milestone, we are especially grateful to the Dallas members of AJC’s Visionaries Society. Visionaries Society members have made a powerful commitment to AJC’s future by including AJC in their estate plans or establishing an endowment fund. Their foresight helps ensure that AJC’s global advocacy and leadership will continue to shape a stronger, safer future for the Jewish people.

Many donors choose to support AJC through thoughtful, tax-advantaged planned gifts that reflect both their philanthropic values and their long-term financial planning. These gifts often allow individuals and families to make a significant future commitment while maintaining flexibility today.

Planned gifts can take many forms. Some donors include AJC in their will or trust through a bequest. Others name AJC as a beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or donor advised fund. Some establish charitable trusts that provide income to family members during their lifetime while ultimately supporting AJC’s mission. These approaches can help donors make a meaningful impact while also addressing tax considerations for their families.

Legacy giving reflects a belief that AJC’s work must continue well into the future. At a time when the need for strong global advocacy has never been greater, planned gifts help ensure that AJC will continue to educate leaders, build trusted partnerships, confront antisemitism, and strengthen the Jewish future.

As we celebrate 80 years of AJC in Dallas, we are grateful to the leaders who are helping secure the next 80 years through their vision and generosity.
