Amy Sapeika serves as the Community Director for AJC Detroit, where she combines her diverse expertise in Jewish communal leadership and engagement, law, communications, and politics to advocate for the Jewish community and Israel. With a deep passion for fostering nonpartisan collaboration and education, Amy has made a significant impact through her work as a commercial litigation attorney and as the Director of Communications at Hillel Day School. A dedicated volunteer leader, Amy has served with Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, where she was selected for the inaugural cohort of Evolve Hadassah Leadership Fellows. She has also contributed to Hadassah's national Branding Committee and held the role of Marketing Vice President for the Greater Detroit Region. Amy earned her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School, where she served as President of the Jewish Law Student Organization, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
