After one month of lockdown due to COVID-19, Austria was one of the first European countries to begin easing restrictions. Compared to other countries on the continent, its coronavirus cases and deaths have been quite low.
France must join its European partners in calling for Hezbollah to be placed on the European Union's list of terrorist organizations if it wants to be comprehensive in its fight against terrorism. France could very well become the next European hotspot for the organization once it is driven out of Germany.
If the EU is keen on carving out a diplomatic role in solving this conflict, it needs to end its ambiguity on UNRWA, whether by initiating reform or using its financial support for the agency as leverage to press the Palestinian leadership to return to bilateral negotiations with Israel.
