Tickets are now available for the 2019 Westchester Jewish Film Festival taking place at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, New York from Tuesday, April 2nd through Wednesday, April 17th. This year's Festival features 42 engaging, thought-provoking and entertaining new Jewish films, as well as an extraordinary array of top-notch speakers, and other programming. AJC is proud to be the lead sponsor of this Festival, the largest Jewish community event in the County - now in its 18th (chai) year!

AJC is pleased to once again be providing special programming following five carefully selected films. They will feature high-level speakers as follows:

  1. Wednesday, April 3rd at 7:30 p.m. - "Who Will Write Our History." (Trailer) Post-Screening Q&A with Ambassador Marciej Golubiewski, Polish Consul General in New York and Professor Sam Kassow, author of “Who Will Write Our History?” WITH RECEPTION.
  2. Wednesday, April 10th at 7:30 p.m. – Prosecuting Evil: The Extraordinary World of Ben Ferencz." (Trailer) Post-Screening Q&A with Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad Zeid al-Hussein, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and Felice Gaer, Director of AJC’s Jacob Blaustein Institute for the Advancement of Human Rights. WITH RECEPTION.
  3. Thursday, April 11th at 7:30 p.m. - "The Waldheim Waltz"(Trailer) Post-Screening Q&A with AJC CEO David Harris. WITH RECEPTION.
  4. Sunday, April 14th at 12:00 p.m. – "A Bag of Marbles" (Trailer) Post-Screening Q&A with Dr. Michael Marrus, Chancellor Rose and Ray Wolfe Professor Emeritus of Holocaust Studies at the University of Toronto, and Rene-Pierre Azria, AJC France Chairman.
  5. Tuesday, April 16th at 7:30 p.m. – "The Oslo Diaries" (Trailer) Post-Screening Q&A with Dr. Steven Bayme, AJC’s Director of Contemporary Jewish Life and the Koppelman Institue on American Jewish-Israel Relations, and Steve Apkon, Founder of the Jacob Burns Film Center.
