Brandon is the Acting Director of the New York Regional Office of American Jewish Committee (AJC). In this capacity, he provides strategic oversight for the office’s advocacy and leadership development efforts.
Brandon founded AJC’s ACCESS Leadership Fellowship and AJC New York’s Leadership, Advocacy and Diplomacy (LEAD) Fellowship, national programs that provide emerging leaders with immersive experiences in AJC’s core advocacy work. In his prior role as Associate Director, he led AJC New York’s diplomatic outreach with consulates and UN missions and supervised the organization’s young professionals’ division, ACCESS NY.
Prior to joining AJC, Brandon worked at Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) of Boston, where he focused on Israel activism on campus. At CJP, he founded the Intercampus Leadership Committee, bringing together pro-Israel student leaders from across the Greater Boston area, and built coalitions between Jewish student groups and diverse interfaith and intergroup communities.
Brandon is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and received his bachelor’s degrees in history and religious studies from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in Near Eastern and Judaic studies from Brandeis University. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, hockey, and spending time with his wife, Bianca, and their sons, Ori and Zev.
