Your Department
The Global Events Department oversees operations and logistics for a variety of domestic and international events, meetings, and missions, including AJC Global Forum (the agency’s annual policy conference), Board of Governors meetings, Leadership Development and Board Engagement Institutes, and National Development events (NLC Fly In and Anniversary Missions). Through these events, we raise awareness of AJC’s programmatic and advocacy work, engage and develop lay leadership, and enhance understanding of and commitment to the agency’s priorities.
Your Impact This position advances AJC’s mission by planning, overseeing, and developing work that directly supports the organization’s strategic goals; may have no direct reports or manage a small team. The role exercises significant latitude to solve moderately complex challenges and make decisions with meaningful departmental impact.
The Associate Director will serve as a key partner in the planning, coordination, and execution of AJC’s signature events, working closely with the Director of Operations and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless, high-impact experiences.
Your Role
This Global Events team member provides event production and logistics expertise in the planning and execution of all major events for AJC.
Responsibilities are centered on managing key elements of event operations (budgets, F&B, transportation) for multi-size events, creating and managing event and department budgets, vendor and venue searches and contract negotiations, and problem-solving unique project challenges.

Compensation
The salary for this position is $75,000 to $87,000 depending on relevant experience and location.
