For over three decades, AJC has urged the U.S. to make a national priority a comprehensive energy policy aimed at substantial reduction in U.S. dependence on imported oil.

Through op-ed articles, radio commentaries, and sponsorship of educational seminars, we raise public awareness to face the energy crisis and its foreign policy and national security implications.

AJC's Fuel-Efficient Vehicle Bonus Program, offering AJC employees a cash incentive to purchase fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly vehicles, and its Green Building Project, aimed at reaching green certification for its national headquarters, are firsts by a Jewish nonprofit in America.
