The Changing World Order: What Role for the U.S. and Europe?
Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and German Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor Joschka Fischer encouraged a negotiated settlement to the Israel-Palestinian conflict in a conversation with AJC Executive Director David Harris. "Unilateral declarations are not the answer," said Albright. Added Fischer, "It's time for meaningful, serious negotiations."
