AJC supports a negotiated two-state settlement of the Israel-Palestinian conflict. The current Palestinian strategy of unilateralism, to seek UN recognition for a state that does not yet exist, and to do so without talking to Israel, will harm the peace process. Returning to direct talks is the only path to peace.
