More than sixty years after the Holocaust, the scourge of anti-Semitism persists.
AJC plays a leading role in the global effort to combat
anti-Semitism. Securing Jewish communities worldwide and fighting
racism and discrimination are critical to our mission. Integral to that
is our commitment to monitor, analyze and counter anti-Semitism
wherevever it appears.
Anti-Semitism can be expressed through hate crimes or hate speech specifically aimed at Jews. More recently, anti-Semitism has frequently
been masked as anti-Zionism. In many Arab and Muslim countries, opposition
to Israel often adopts the images and themes of traditional
anti-Semitism.
The materials in this section provide important background about the
history and present threat of anti-Semitism. Our aim is to guide you in
both identifying and responding to its modern manifestations.
