AJC Experts
Kara Stein is AJC's associate director of Domestic Policy and Legal Affairs. She works on both AJC's legal matters and programmatic matters involving constitutional rights and domestic policy. Among her responsibilities is the coordination of AJC's amicus participation in cases concerning church-state separation, religious liberties, and civil rights. Stein has been with AJC since 1998 and is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and NYU School of Law, and recently received a masters degree from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Prior to joining AJC, Kara was an associate at a litigation firm in New York City. She is a member of the United States Supreme Court, New York and New Jersey Bars. |
