Barry has been on the Board of the Westchester Region for the past six years and is in his third year on the Executive Committee. His work for the region includes the diplomatic team, Israel…New Perspectives, Learned Hand, Interreligious and Intergroup Relations, and Energy Independence Day.
He has served on the Board of Trustees at Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff Manor for the past 16 years and served two (2) two-year terms as Vice-President of the synagogue. Currently he is chair of the CSI Fundraising Committee and is co-chair, with fellow AJC Board member Mark Reisman, of the CSI Israel Action Committee.
Barry has been a lawyer in private practice in Manhattan since 1978, specializing in real estate law, housing, cooperative and condominium law, both transactional and litigation. He lives in Briarcliff Manor with his wife, Donna, and daughters, Lindsay and Zoe. Lindsay works for the JDC - Jonit Distribution Committee in New York, having graduated from the Universityof Maryland two years ago and Zoe recently graduated from Franklin and Marshall.
