Susan was born in New Rochelle and graduated with a double BA in psychology and fine arts from Brandeis University. Shortly after graduating, Susan returned to school and received her doctorate in psychology from New York University. She worked at Bellevue Hospital, Columbia Hospital, the Yale-New Haven Hospital Child Study Center and at the Center for Preventive Psychiatry. Currently, she has a part-time practice and is obtaining a certificate in psychoanalysis from the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
Susan lives in Edgemont with her husband Joel and two lovely children, Jeremy and Rachel. She has been a member of AJC since the summer of 2008. In addition, she has been on the School Board and Board of her synagogue, Bet Am Shalom, and has been a class parent and involved with the PTA at her children’s school
